Artist + The DJ was founded by April Scott in 2012 to create a platform to showcase and celebrate ALL BLACK LIVES and support them to be successful and involved in their communities. A+D is a production company for the community featuring local artists, DJs, food and live entertainment. Our universe was created with the intention to preserve, celebrate, and tell our stories about our own culture while circulating financial stability, education, mental health and safety within our community.

 

The A+D Universe is currently producing 3 platforms. SOUL TO TABLE is a Southern California Soul Cuisine traveling supper club out of DTLA. ARTISTRY PARK is a unique learning experience enriching and uplifting all creative spirits through art and music. APRUKUMA GALLERY showcases the beauty and diversity of black culture through multimedia art. 

 

It is extremely important to support the people of our community in business, art and education. By creating and curating platforms for these people to be seen and heard, we are all giving back to the planet while creating cultural nourishment and creative enrichment for the community and the future.
